Well, we were warned, we awoke to a silent world this morning, covered with snow, and the blanket falling steadily.
It does not seem to worry the Calgarians - off to the mall we went, past the bus that was stuck & sliding backwards down the hill on the icy road, and the snow-plough spraying snow off the road ahead of its blade. And we were not the only ones, the roads were busy and CrossIron Mills mall, huge and impressive, was crowded with families bundled up in parkas and snowboots, but otherwise undeterred! As someone said to us - people live here, and snow happens, it's no big deal, just part of life. If one took any notice of the weather, you would never go out....
